PROPERTY
A Power of Attorney for Property is a legal document which gives someone else the power to deal with your property.
It is absolutely essential for everyone to have a Power of Attorney for Property. If you are incapacitated, due to illness, accident, or for any other reason, and do not have a Power of Attorney for Property the cost of having a guardian for property appointed by the court can easily be thousands of dollars.
CARE
A Power of Attorney for Personal Care is often referred to as a "living will" and is a legal document which allows someone else to make health care decisions on your behalf if you cannot.
It is not essential that you have a Power of Attorney for Personal Care but it is nonetheless a worthwhile document to have, in particular for older persons and those who have health concerns.

The Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General has a free power of attorney kit available for download on their website.
OUR FEES
Our fee for the preparation of Powers of Attorney is $50.00 plus GST per Power. We will ensure that the Powers are properly executed, accurately reflect your wishes and will store the original Powers in our fireproof safe. We will provide you with notarized copies of the Powers prepared and executed and will provide further notarized copies upon request. There is no fee for this service.
